ActorBuddy Beta

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 8, 2026

ActorBuddy helps actors rehearse, record reader timing, and finish self-tape auditions. This beta policy explains what the app stores and why.

Account Data

When you create an account, ActorBuddy stores your email address, stage name, and authentication session through Supabase Auth.

Rehearsal And Project Data

Scripts, scene setup, reader settings, and project metadata may sync to your private account library so the same account can continue on another device.

Audition Media

Raw audition media is not stored in your account library by default. Take media moves through explicit actions such as Finish Audition, handoff codes, camera upload, sync, and export.

Temporary Handoff Codes

Handoff codes are designed for phone-to-desktop transfer. Codes expire after 24 hours, are intended to be single-use, and the handoff payload is removed after claim.

AI And Audio Processing

ActorBuddy may send text, reader voice requests, audio, or uploaded camera files to configured processing providers to generate reader audio, sync takes, reduce reverb, isolate voice, or export audition files.

Beta Limitations

Do not upload material you are not allowed to process. ActorBuddy is a beta tool, so actors should review all generated or exported results before submitting an audition.
